CTET December 2024 Exam Date
The CBSE has scheduled the CTET December 2024 exam for December 1, 2024. Paper-II (for TGT) will take place in the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:00 noon. Paper-I (for PRT) is set for the afternoon shift, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, on the same day.
CTET 2024 Eligibility
The CTET exam is held for two levels: Level 1 for Primary Teachers (PRT) teaching Classes I-V, and Level 2 for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) teaching Classes VI-VIII. For Level 1 (PRT), candidates must have completed 12th grade along with D.Ed, JBT, B.El.Ed, or B.Ed qualifications. For Level 2 (TGT), eligibility requires a graduation degree along with B.Ed or B.El.Ed qualifications.
CTET Application Fee
The application fee for the CTET exam is Rs. 1000 for candidates in the General and OBC (NCL) categories who are applying for either Paper-I or Paper-II, and Rs. 1200 for those applying for both papers. For SC, ST, and PWD candidates, the fee is Rs. 500 for one paper and Rs. 600 for both papers.
